A fresh approach to wind farm development

Who we are

Kincardine Wind Partners is an independent UK wind developer headquartered in Scotland. As the name suggests, our team’s experience originates from working together on the Kincardine floating offshore wind project.

We bring together many years of offshore wind experience, having played key roles in developments that have redefined what is possible in the sector. Extensive experience across multiple major projects and jurisdictions ensures we understand what is needed at each stage – and, perhaps more importantly, what is not!

What we do

At Kincardine Wind Partners we take a fresh approach to wind farm development.

We concentrate on the early phases of wind farm development, identifying projects with robust economic fundamentals and competitive potential. Our ‘lean developer’ business model is built on efficiency – with minimal headcount, low overheads and carefully selected partnerships.

We adopt a disciplined, step-by-step investment approach – spending only where value and risk reduction are clear. We avoid unnecessary commitments until the project is fully mature and ready for construction.

Our objective is to drive down the cost of wind farm development while accelerating timelines. This will help to unlock the investment needed to scale clean energy rapidly and reduce costs for consumers.

Wind energy is vital to tackle climate change and preserve our environment. We work with local communities and believe that proactive, transparent and responsive engagement is essential to building strong stakeholder relationships.

Our ambition

To make disciplined project investments where our expertise adds value.

Our motivation

To deliver efficient projects that accelerate wind deployment to power a better future.

Through innovation and determination, we will accelerate a future beyond carbon.
